L.L Bean vs. Jansport?

I'm shopping around for a new backpack for the coming school year and I keep hearing that L.L Bean and Jansport are the best brands to get. Problem is, I can't tell which is better. I'm looking for something really sturdy because every year my bags either break due to the mass amounts of books I end up carrying or I end up carrying half my books because they won't fit. This is something I wish to end. Also, every backpack I buy is usually dull looking, so finding a backpack that is cute would also be nice, but durability is priority. Help please?

i got a jansport 2 years ago and it broke so this year im going to get l.l.bean . jansport are really good but i have a millon textbooks
