What is the best way to wash a dirty backpack?

Most of them can be washed in the washer. Look at what the tag in the backpack says.

You can wash that in the washing machine. Use a delicate cycle. You could even use a delicate fabric detergent. Do not put it in the dryer. Hang it up to dry.
